Teacher Testimonials

  • Kerrie Losee
I just wanted to thank you again for the 2 workshop sessions you ran yesterday at Sunnybank Primary. The kids loved it and were buzzing all day about it. They loved their insect bags and couldn't wait to have a look at them and use the magnifying glasses at break time. Thanks again!

The quality of the presentation was excellent and covered exactly what was required for the students to successfully complete their work. I believe that the (insect) collections that we will receive from this group of students will be of a far better quality than previous years and this can be attributed to the experiences that students gained by participating in this workshop.

Thank you so much for a wonderful, informative and interesting visit to our school today. The kids were so excited before you came, and have been talking about it since. You presented a really professional session, and you spoke really well at the children's level, (which most outside visitors have trouble with). I will thoroughly recommend you and your program to any school I talk to and hope to see you again in the future.

Dear Michelle, Thankyou for giving us a kit to look at insects.  The best bit was when we got to hold the stick insect.

To Michelle the Bug Lady, I learnt that bugs aren’t the same as people and they’re interesting creatures.  Thankyou very much from a bug-lover as well.

I liked how the children’s stick insect was really ticklish when it crawled on your hand.  I like how the brown stick insect’s tail curls up.  And I liked how the leaf insect would stick onto Michelle’s hand when she put it upside down
